Using this site

Use this site for what it is for: reading about Pelham Fringe, finding out when and where the festival is, and getting in touch with us.

Please do not scrape it, harvest addresses from it, hammer it with automated tools, or try to interfere with it or with the systems it runs on.

You are welcome to link to any page here.

If you write to us at the address on this site, or add your email address to the mailing list, you agree to us writing to you via that address. Our use of your email address is governed by the terms on our Privacy page.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, please use this site with a parent or guardian’s permission.

What is on it

The words, design, photographs and code on this site belong either to Pelham Fringe or to the writers, performers, designers and photographers whose work is shown here, and they appear on this site in connection with the festival. Please do not copy, republish or reuse any of it elsewhere without asking first. Write to us and we will tell you who to ask.

Nothing on this site gives anyone permission to perform, record or publish a play, a piece of music or an improvised set that appears in the festival. Those rights stay with the people who made the work. Performance rights are arranged with the writer, not with this website.

Press and program listings are the ordinary exception. If you are writing about the festival, use the titles, dates, names and images we have published, and please credit the photographer where one is named.

Tickets and events

Pelham Fringe does not sell tickets and takes no payment through this website. Tickets to the festival are sold by The Picture House through its own website. When you buy one, the purchase is between you and The Picture House, under The Picture House’s terms, and their terms are what govern your ticket, your entry to the building and your money. Anything to do with a refund, an exchange, a booking fee or a cancelled order goes to them.

The same is true of the building. Entry, house rules, latecomer policy, accessibility of the premises and anything else about being in the venue are The Picture House’s, and nothing on this site changes them or speaks for them.

What we publish here is the program: dates, times, running order, casting and what is in the show. We keep it as accurate as we can and it can still change, sometimes at short notice, and sometimes after tickets have been sold. A listing on this site is not a promise that a particular play, performer or running order will appear.

What you send us

There is nothing to upload on this site. Everything you send us, whether a biography, a headshot, a script, a photograph or a note about volunteering, reaches us by email or in person, and this section is about what happens when you do.

When you send us material about yourself or your work so that we can publish it, you are giving us permission to use it on this website and in the festival’s own materials: program, poster, social posts, press. You keep ownership of it. We are not buying it, we are not selling it on, and if you ask us to take something down we will.

Please only send us material you actually have the right to send.

If you send us an idea that we did not ask for, we may already be working on something like it. Sending it does not create an obligation on our side and does not entitle you to anything if something similar happens later. Please do not send us anything confidential.

Disclaimers and liability

This site is provided as it is. We put it together with care and we still cannot promise that everything on it is accurate, complete or current, or that the site will always be available. Dates, times, running order and casting can change. Nothing on this site is advice of any kind, and nothing on it is a guarantee that an event will happen as described.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pelham Fringe is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of your use of this site or of anything published on it, including indirect, incidental or consequential loss. You pay us nothing for the use of this website, and our total liability to you in connection with it is limited to the amount you have paid us for it, which is nothing. Some states do not allow every one of these limits, so where the law does not allow one, it does not apply. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to limit.

This site links to other organizations’ websites, The Picture House among them, and mentions services we use, such as the mailing list described on our Privacy page. We link to them for your convenience. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their practices or their terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date below changes with them, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated version.

These terms are effective September 3, 2026.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New York, without regard to its choice-of-law rules. Any dispute about them will be brought in the courts located in Westchester County, New York, and both of us agree to those courts hearing it.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
