Lin Snider directed actors through scenes from George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s Merrily We Roll Along, the 1934 play that tells its story backwards. Audience members stayed for the whole process: the same scenes read again, and again, and different every time.
What you watch is not a performance. It is a scene getting better in public.
