Sixteen days later, thirty-two people sat down around a long table to read Tracy Letts’s August: Osage County, the three-act family drama that won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize.
Nobody had a part. Everybody had a script.
That was the first table, and everything else on this page grew out of it.
